Cycling is one of the best ways to see India. It isn't difficult and
provides the cyclist with glimpses of India denied to the traveller whizzing
past on four wheelers. The following sample itinerary takes you to one of
India's most interesting regions providing an extraordinary blend of
architectural wonders, bird and wild life sanctuaries.
Day 01 :: Delhi
Arrive Delhi met on arrival and transfer to hotel for overnight stay.

02 :: Delhi / Agra (Car)
Morning after breakfast drive to Agra (5 hours drive/205 kms). En-route
visit the Agra Mausoleum of the Great Mughal Emperor Akbar (10 kms before
Agra). On arrival in Agra transfer to hotel. After lunch proceed to visit
the world famous Taj Mahal (1633 AD) and Agra Fort (1536 AD). Overnight stay
at hotel.
Day 03 :: Agra / Bharatpur (Car/Cycle)
Morning drive to Fatehpur Sikri (47 kms), the Ghost Capital (1570) of
Medieval India and witness a rare combination of Buddhist, Indian and
Persian architecture, after lunch start cycling for Bharatpur (22 kms). On
arrival check into hotel. Evening excursion to Keoladeo bird Sanctuary (29
sq kms) spread on a low Marshland and having 205 species of birds of which
117 are Migratory. Overnight stay at Bharatpur.
Day 04 :: Bharatpur / Silsehr (Cycle/Car)
Morning after breakfast start cycling to reach Deeg (21 kms). Visit Deeg
Palace built by Maharaja Sural Mal (Tehu). After lunch drive to Silsehr.
Dinner and overnight stay at Lake Palace Silhehr.
Day 05 :: Sariska (Car)
Morning after breakfast leave by cycles to Sariska. Lunch en-route.
Afternoon visit Sariska Tiger Project, one of the thirteen projects to save
tiger in India. It has an area of 498 sq. kms other animals found here are
Nilgai, spotted deer, wild boar etc. After wildlife sporting drive back to
hotel. Dinner and overnight stay at hotel.
Day
06 :: Sariska/Jaipur (Car)
Morning after breakfast drive to Jaipur. On arrival check-in hotel
Afternoon proceed for sight-seeing of Jaipur. "The Pink City"
covering the Palace, observatory etc. Overnight stay at hotel.
