Spiti - Ladakh

Day 01 :: Arrive Delhi
Met upon arrival and transfer to hotel for overnight stay.

Day 02 :: Delhi - Shimla (368 kms / 7 - 8 hrs approx)
After leisurely breakfast leave for Shimla (2206 M) enroute lunch at Pinjore Gardens. Arrive Shimla. Evening free at leisure. Dinner and overnight in hotel.

Day 03 :: Shimla
After breakfast leave for excursion to Kufri, Chail and wildflower hall. Return to Shimla. Afternoon visit Jakho temple and later free at to explore on your own the famous Mall Road. Dinner and overnight in hotel.

Day 04 :: Shimla - Sarahan (175 kms / 6 – 7 hrs approx)
Early morning after breakfast leave Shimla for Sarahan via Narkanda (2690 M) and Rampur. Sarahan (1920 M) is a beautifully located township amid mountains with Shrikhand Mahadev Peak (5155 M) looming as a backdrop. At Sarahan visit the Bhimakali Temple - a rare combination of Buddhist and Hindu Architecture. The main idol of the goddess is about 200 years old.. Dinner and overnight in Guest House.

Day 05 :: Sarahan - Sangla (114 kms / 4 - 5 hrs approx)
Morning after breakfast drive to Sangla (2680 M). Arrive Sangla which has the majestic Kinner Kailash Peak (6050 M) dominantly situated in the background. Visit Kamru Village & Fort which is now dedicated to Kamakshi temple. Dinner & overnight in Guest House.

Day 06 :: Sangla – Chitkul - Kalpa (103 kms / 5 – 6 hrs approx)
After early breakfast leave for Chitkul (3450 M) This is last village on Indo-Tibet border. After visiting Chitkul return back & drive to Kalpa (2960 M). Dinner & overnight in Guest house.

Day 07 :: Kalpa – Akba - Nako – Tabo (172 kms / 7 hrs approx)
Early morning around sunrise walk to view point to watch beautiful peak of Kinner Kailash peak (6050 M). Return for breakfast and later drive to Nako (2950 M), enroute visit Akba village. Visit Nako monastery and lake. Nako in Hangrang valley is the largest village in Kinnaur valley. Proceed to Tabo. On arrival check–in guesthouse. Later visit Tabo Monastery (2950 M) which is a 1008 years old Monastery, Apparently it is an ordinary mud structure but inside it has beautiful Frescoes which earned the epithet of "Ajanta of Himalayas".

Day 08 :: Tabo – Danker – Lalung – Pin Valley - Kaza
After breakfast proceed to Kaza. Enroute visit Dankar Monastery (3890 M), Lalung Monastery & village (4200 M), Pin Valley, Gungri and Mane villages. On arrival check in hotel. Dinner & overnight in Guest House.

Day 09 :: Tabo – Kye – Kibber – Komic - Kaza
After early breakfast drive to straight visit Kye Monastery (3926 M) which is the largest Monastery in Spiti. Continue drive to Kibber Village (4250 M) and walk around the village. Return to hotel for lunch. After lunch leave for excursion to Komic Village (4580 M) enroute visit the beautiful Langsa village. Dinner and overnight in hotel.

Day 10 :: Kaza – Keylong (180 kms / 7 – 8 hrs approx)
After leisurely breakfast drive to Keylong (3400 M) via Kunzum Pass (4550 M). On arrival in Keylong check-in hotel. Evening free at leisure. Diner and overnight in hotel.

Day 11 :: Keylong - Udeypur - Keylong (102 kms / 6 – 7 hrs approx)
After breakfast at hotel leave for full day excursion to Trilokpur and Udeypur. Trilokpur is famous for Trilokinath Temple (2760 M) on the banks of Chandrabaga river. Udeypur (2650 M) is famous for Mrikula Devi temple. Later return to Keylong. Dinner & overnight in Guest House.

Day 12 :: Keylong - Sarchu (Jeep)
Morning after breakfast drive to Sarchu (4253 M) (127 kms/5 hrs approx) via Baralachala (4892 M). Sarchu is inhabited by Himalayan Clan Gaddi and few lonely soldiers at an army outpost. It is also the actual border between Lahaul and Zanskar. Arrive and overnight stay in tents.

Day 13 :: Sarchu – Leh (Jeep)
Morning after breakfast drive to Leh (3500 M) (233 kms/8 - 9 hrs approx.) via Lachulangla (5065 M) and Tanglangla (5360 M) - the second highest pass in the world with mettaled road. Leh is the capital of Ladakh and is situated on the bank of the river Indus. Arrive and check into hotel for overnight stay.

Day 14 :: Leh
After breakfast take a leisurely walk to visit Leh gompa, Leh palace and local bazaar. Free time. Return to hotel for lunch. Afternoon leave for a half day visit to Stok Palace and Museum. Dinner and overnight in hotel.

Day 15 :: Leh
Morning proceed for sightseeing of Shey, old summer palace with 12 feet statue of Buddha: Thikse, the superbly situated Monastery on a hilltop overlooking the village and the indus river and Hemis Monastery the richest and the largest Monastery of the area. Also visit Traktok monastery which lies nearby. Traktok monastery is the only monastery which belongs to the Nying-ma-pa order. Guru rinpoche (Padma Sambhava) is said to have founded this monastery. The temple where he meditated is still to be seen at Tak-thog or Traktok (Tock roofed) monastery. Return to Leh for dinner and overnight in hotel.

Day 16 :: Leh
After breakfast leave for a full day excursion to visit likir monastery (1.5 - 2 hrs drive approx). Proceed to visit Alchi monastery which is another about 15 - 20 minutes away where hot lunch would be provided. Afternoon return drive to Leh. Dinner and over night in hotel.

Day 17 :: Leh / Delhi (Flight)
Early morning  after breakfast you will be transfered to airport for  flight  to  Delhi. On arrival in Delhi  assistance and transfer  to hotel. Afternoon combined sightseeing tour of New and Old Delhi.  Overnight in hotel.

Day 18 :: Delhi
After breakfast day free at leisure. Evening farewell INDIAN DINNER HOSTED  BY RAZDAN HOLIDAYS. Later transfer to international airport.

Day 19 :: Delhi / Zurich
Board your Austrian Airlines flight BACK HOME.
